Lawyer’s Choice Title, LLC is owned and operated by the law firm of Bodie, Dolina, Hobbs, Friddell & Grenzer, P.C. with offices in Towson, Reisterstown, and Harford County.

HISTORY:

From the early 1980’s the law firm of Bodie, Dolina, Hobbs, Friddell & Grenzer, P.C. (“Bodie”) owned and operated the successful title company, Susquehanna Title Co., which was synonymous with quality.  When the managing attorney decided to retire, Susquehanna Title Co. closed its doors and dissolved.  After closing Susquehanna Title Co., Bodie felt that the other title companies were not committed to providing the level of service their clients required and deserved.  In the summer of 2004 Bodie decided to once again open a title company that was committed to excellence and providing its clients with the highest level of service and skill available.  That goal was realized in January 2005, when Lawyer’s Choice Title, LLC opened began operations.  Lawyer’s Choice Title, LLC embraced the goals and vision of providing quality title and settlement services to the clients of Bodie and all who sought the uncompromising customer service and knowledge of a title company backed by one of the oldest law firms in Baltimore County, Maryland.

MISSION:

The mission of Lawyer’s Choice Title, LLC is to provide prompt and efficient service in the State of Maryland backed by the expertise of one of Baltimore County’s oldest and most respected law firms. We seek to provide unique solutions to complex problems that may arise during course of the transaction.

General LitigationChristopher W. Keelty, Esq.  Mr. Keelty is a graduate of Calvert Hall College High School (1994) and Mount Saint Mary’s College (now University) (B.S., 1998) where he was a double major in Business and Finance and Spanish.  He began his legal career by attending the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law (J.D., 2002).  While in law school Mr. Keelty served as the law clerk to the Honorable James T. Smith, Jr. (Circuit Court for Baltimore County, Maryland 2001).  Upon graduation from law school Mr. Keelty became the law clerk for the Honorable J. Norris Byrnes (Circuit Court for Baltimore County, Maryland 2002-2003).  Currently, Mr. Keelty’s duties include managing the daily operations of the company, performing title examinations, and performing settlements.  Mr. Keelty is licensed to practice law and perform settlements in the State of Maryland.  Mr. Keelty’s email isckeelty@bodie-law.com

Chester H. Hobbs, IV, Esq. Mr. Hobbs is a graduate of the University of Baltimore (B.A., 1984) and the University of Baltimore School of Law (J.D., 1987; L.L.M. in taxation, 2004).  In addition to being a partner at Bodie, Mr. Hobbs has taught estate and trust law at Stevenson University in Stevenson, Maryland.  Currently Mr. Hobbs practices estate and trust law, corporate law and bankruptcy law.  He also handles commercial and residential real estate transactions for Lawyer’s Choice Title, LLC.  Mr. Hobbs is licensed to practice law and perform settlements in the State of Maryland.  Mr. Hobbs’ email is chobbs@bodie-law.com

Carol Stultz Mrs. Stultz is a graduate of Villa Julie College (now Stevenson University) where she obtained her degree in paralegal studies (A.A.,  1984).  She has over 30 years in the real estate industry managing title companies, processing and settling transactions.  Mrs. Stultz is licensed to perform settlements in the state of Maryland.  Mrs. Stultz’s email is cstultz@bodie-law.com
