Mariela C. D’Alessio
Ms. D’Alessio joined Bodie, Dolina, Hobbs, Friddell & Grenzer, P.C. as an associate attorney in 2011. Ms. D’Alessio focuses her practice on estate planning and estate and trust administration.
Ms. D’Alessio was born on Long island New York, but has been a resident of Harford County for the past twenty (20) years. She graduated from Villa Julie College, now known as Stevenson University, in 2005 with a bachelor of science in pre-law studies. Upon her graduation, Ms. D’Alessio was employed by the Firm as a paralegal to Chester H. Hobbs, IV, during which time she gained invaluable experience in estate planning and estate and trust administration before attending law school in Florida.
While in law school, Ms. D’Alessio served as a judicial intern to Judge Peter L. Dearing, Probate Division of the Fourth Circuit of Duval County, Florida. Her primary responsibilities included researching pertinent legal issues and assisting pro se individuals with the preparation and filing of their various petitions. Additionally, Ms. D’Alessio reviewed all estate administration, guardianship, and mental health files to ensure all documents filed complied with appropriate statutes.
Ms. D’Alessio graduated from Florida Coastal School of Law in December 2010 and ranked in the top thirty percent (30%) of her class and fulfilled the juris doctorate requirements in two and a half (2 ½) years.
Ms. D’Alessio is licensed to practice law in Florida and Maryland and is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association (MSBA), Baltimore County Bar Association (BCBA), and is an active member of the Young Lawyer Section of the Baltimore County Bar Association. Ms. D’Alessio is also a member of the following Florida Bar Sections: Business Law; Out-of-State Practitioners Division; Real Property Probate and Trust Law; and The Young Lawyers Division.
