Jeffrey P. Rogyom
Mr. Rogyom practices as a tax, business, and estate planning attorney.
He advises clients on legal and tax issues relating to commercial transactions, start-ups, corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, business successions, and real estate. Jeff practices both federal and state tax law, and he assists
individuals and businesses with tax audit defense and tax planning in the areas of income, corporate, partnership, franchise, sales and use, property, and estate taxes. When consulting clients, Jeff’s background allows him to consider their personal, business, and tax needs.
Jeff was born in New Orleans and practiced as an accountant before attending law school. He was admitted as an attorney to the Louisiana State Bar and, following his move to Baltimore, was admitted to the Maryland State Bar and the District of Columbia Bar. Jeff received his LLM in tax law from Boston University School of Law and his JD from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law. He received his MBA from University of New Orleans and has a degree in finance from Louisiana State University. Jeff is a member of the tax sections of the Maryland State Bar and the District of Columbia Bar, and he is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court.
Jeff serves on the Board of Directors for the Towson Chamber of Commerce and has served on its Towsontown Springfest Committee for many years. In addition, Jeff has volunteered as a Vice-President and as Legal Counsel for the Maryland Junior Chamber (the “Jaycees”) and has served as President and Chairman of the Board for the Towson Junior Chamber.
