Alaina L. Storie

Ms. Storie joined Bodie, Dolina, Hobbs, Friddell & Grenzer, P.C. as an associate attorney in December 2007. She began with the Firm as a law clerk in May 2006 while also attending the University of Baltimore School of Law.

Ms. Storie’s primary focus with the Firm is family law, which includes divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, Alaina L Storieproperty division, and domestic violence matters. Ms. Storie focuses on achieving a resolution that is fair and equitable to her clients, while understanding the emotional elements that are involved when handling family law matters, and reaches these results either through settlement negotiations or litigation before the Court. Ms. Storie has extensive experience and success in both of these avenues of resolution. She additionally practices in the areas of personal injury, contract disputes and other civil litigation. Ms. Storie appears in multiple venues across Maryland both in the District and Circuit Courts, including Baltimore, Carroll, Harford and Howard Counties, as well as in the Firm’s expanding practice areas in Washington and Frederick Counties.

While attending the University of Maryland, College Park, Ms. Storie was a member of the Student Judiciary in the Office of Student Conduct and a Presiding Officer for hearings on Academic Integrity. While attending the University of Baltimore, Ms. Storie practiced as a student attorney for the Family Law Clinic, was a judicial intern for the Honorable Michael J. Finifter in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County, and was a Litigation Fellow in the Stephen L. Snyder Center for Litigation Skills.

Ms. Storie is a graduate of Pikesville High School (2000), the University of Maryland, College Park (B.A. Sociology, 2004) and the University of Baltimore School of Law (J.D., 2007) with concentrations in Family Law and Litigation & Advocacy. Ms. Storie is currently a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and Baltimore County Bar Association.
